How To Make Money On YouTube Without Monetization

Today’s article is all about How To Make Money On YouTube Without Monetization.

Making YouTube videos may be quite profitable if done right. Unfortunately, many new YouTube creators believe that if they produce high-quality videos and allow advertisements to appear on them, money will start to come in.

Many of these filmmakers, however, discover that YouTube is not a reliable source of cash.

Though a precise figure is impossible to give, you can anticipate that a video will earn $1 to $2 for every thousand views.

Why are YouTube’s creators paid so little? First, keep in mind that this is YouTube’s platform, and though it is under no obligation to compensate its creators, it does so nonetheless.

You should also keep in mind that ad revenue moves through many hands before reaching you.

It all starts with the customer, who pays the advertiser, who pays YouTube, who pays the creative, and so on.

There isn’t much money left at the end. So, what can creators do to fast generate sustainable revenue from YouTube?

How To Make Money On YouTube Without Monetization

1. Selling Your Products To Make Money On Youtube Without Monetization

We’ve been told that YouTube will give us a small percentage of the revenue generated by an advertiser.

Affiliate schemes like Amazon will provide us with a higher percentage of sales, but what if we wanted to keep 100% of the profits and have complete control over the cash flow?

You must sell your own things to do so.

Consider the following scenario: you build a $29 mini online training program. You’ll want to create a video that delivers a lot of value and then pitch your course at the conclusion to get more value.

YouTube AdSense will pay roughly $1 per 1,000 views on your video, but if you can only persuade 0.5% of your followers to buy your course (five people), you’ll make a total of $250 from your own product.

As a result, only a small number of individuals will need to buy your products for you to earn more money without AdSense than YouTube will pay.

2. Affiliate Programs

Affiliate Programs are one of the best ways or if not the best way how to make money on YouTube without Adsense and every content creator should be using it.

What Are Affiliate Programs? An affiliate program pays you a commission for recommending customers to another company’s product or service–as it’s easy as that.

So talking about different products in your Youtube videos or doing product reviews, there could be an affiliate program where you get paid if people buy something after clicking on your link.

YouTube channel that does a review of products

These are known as affiliate links, and they are used by many YouTubers, bloggers, and influencers because it is one of the simplest ways to earn money and monetize your YouTube channel.

Affiliate links are now so popular because there are affiliate programs for almost everything out there.

There are also links to software programs and online courses. With affiliate links, the sky is your limit.

So start looking into affiliate programs that will benefit you, your channel, and your viewers, and start including them in your video. So you can start making money; you don’t have to have 1000s of subscribers.

To start using affiliate links, all you need to do is apply and get accepted to the program. And then, you can begin sharing the product and sharing your affiliate links.

3. Merchandise

Merchandise any process that aids in selling products to a retail customer is referred to as merchandise.

At the retail level, merchandising refers to the imaginative display of products for sale to encourage buyers to buy more things or products.

Merchandise is another way to make money on YouTube without the monetization.

It is a timeless piece. Everyone, especially your YouTubers, is aware of merch, and everyone has merch to sell.

People want to be a part of you and your company for a reason, and the most excellent way for them to do so is to wear your merchandise.

There is an extensive spectrum of merch. It doesn’t just have to be t-shirts. It can be sweatshirts, hats, mugs, pencils, or all sorts of things; the sky is the limit.

But you don’t have to have a certain number of subscribers before you start offering merch.

You can print merchandise for yourself and then manage and sell them on your own.

You may print your products and manage and sell them on your own. That’s both costly and inconvenient. You can use a company like Spreadshop and Teespring, which is essentially a print-on-demand clothing shop that is fantastic.

4. Selling Services To Make Money On Youtube Without Monetization

Another way on how to make money on YouTube without monetization is through service.

These are things that you provide as a service to others.

For instance, these are consulting, coaching, audits, and anything like that through your YouTube videos, you may have people reach out and say, Hey, I admire your work, but how can I work with you one-on-one?

That’s where a coaching program comes in, where you can work with someone one-on-one and give them your whole focus to help them reach their goals.

I obviously do this in my business, and I love working with my clients and helping them expand their YouTube channels using my strategies.

So, with these services, you basically use your videos to draw people in and introduce them to you, which is how you can monetize your channel.

Then they want to go a step further and work with you one-on-one; the services are excellent.

And I would absolutely consider them if you are a subject matter expert or if you specialize in anything since there will always be people who, while they enjoy your videos, want to go ahead in line and get the information.

That’s where your consulting and coaching services come in handy.

Another service I provide is making YouTube videos for other businesses.

So they’ve seen my YouTube videos and enjoy how I convey information. As a result, they pay me to film and record YouTube videos for their channels as a freelancer.

5. Fan Funding

You can set up “fan fundraising” streams to solicit money from your audience, similar to how you can crowdfund a project.

You’re adding your voice to the internet as a creative without requiring your audience to pay for admission.

As a result, if you provide good material, your audience may be willing to support you regularly.

Many fan financing systems provide creators with a new means for people to find their work as well as a means to engage and reward their most devoted fans.

Among the most common fan fundraising options are:
  • Patreon

The membership platform enables creators to be compensated quickly. Fans can obtain unique prizes by subscribing to their favorite creators for as little as $1 a month.

  • Super Chat on YouTube:

Super Chat is a tool that is used when going live on YouTube. It allows you to set up a tip jar for your viewers to donate whenever and as much they like.

6. Licensing Your Videos

Licensing your video is another way on how to make money on YouTube without Adsense monetization.

You can charge someone to use your video on their platforms if you pay for a license.

There are a few companies and websites, such as Junkin Media, where you may upload your various films to a database or library.

As a result, you’ll be able to appear when customers are browsing for videos to license.

When I think about this, the Chewbacca mom comes to mind. If you recall, a few years ago, there was a viral video on Facebook of a lady who bought a Chewbacca mask that made Chewbacca sounds anytime you started talking.

she was just laughing and having a good old time, she thought it was the most hilarious thing in the world.

And her reaction was quite funny and it just blew up because it was so popular, that she ended up licensing the video to many sources and news organizations that wanted to utilize it. That’s how she made money.

So don’t think that just because you put a video on YouTube, it’s the only place where you can publish it. You can use that video and make money from that video in other ways and licensing is a great way to do that.

7. Sponsorship

Sponsorships do not require your Youtube channel to be monetization or even a big audience. When a company pays to have its product, service, or brand promoted in your YouTube videos, this is known as sponsorship. It will be promoted explicitly in your YouTube video, and you will be paid for it.

And it’s a frequent misconception that getting sponsored on your YouTube channel requires tens of thousands of subscribers. That is not the case, however.

I haven’t had any ads on my YouTube channel yet, but sponsorship requests started coming in before I had a thousand subscribers.

When my  YouTube channel reached 921 subscribers, I could remember a corporation contacting me.

Companies continue to contact me for sponsorship.
